Autumn Colours.
The autumn colours are on the trees
Greens, yellows, orange and brown
The acorns and the horse chestnuts
Will be falling to the ground
Staying there for many months
Starting to decompose
Ready for the spring time to come
So the seed inside regrows
On the trees leaves will all discolour
Then fall off, which looks so mean
But in the spring they will rejuvenate
All nice and new and green
Don’t be sad when autumn comes
It is nature’s way of giving birth
When the leaves and seeds fall to the ground
It is giving nutrients to the earth

The Star
Across the Heavens, clear and bright,
Travelling through the velvet night,
A tiny star, a jewelled flame,
Came to Earth to learn again.
Many wonders did he see,
The teeming Earth, the boundless sea,
And all the creatures that dwelt therein,
The plants, the trees, the crawling things.
Other lights that came his way,
Taught him many things each day,
Of pain and tears and misery,
Joy and laughter and ecstasy.
With each pain his light grew dim
And bitterness made him dark and grim,
Till one day a small light sparked his flame,
And filled him with joy and love again.
As he learnt to care for his fellow stars,
His light spread out and shone afar,
Filling the sky with its rainbow rays,
And healing all who came his way.
The flame of love burnt bright as day,
And soon he had to be on his way,
Back to the source from whence he came,
Knowing that love alone can cure all pain.

OUR WORLD.
THE WORLD IS WHITE, BLUE
AND GREEN
MADE UP OF VAST SEA'S AND
SPRAWLING LAND
FROM FROZEN GLAZIERS AND
GOLDEN SANDS
ICE CAPPED MOUNTAINS AND
LUSH GREEN FIELDS
THAT PROVIDES THE WORLD
WITH NOURISHING MEALS
IT'S OUR DUTY TO GIVE MOTHER
NATURE A HAND
TO LOOK AFTER WHAT WE HAVE
BEEN GIVEN
TO ACT IN A LANGUAGE THAT
SHE UNDERSTANDS
IT'S THIS THAT SHOULD ALWAYS
KEEP US DRIVEN

PRECIOUS DAYS
Never let the sun set
On a bright new day
Without achieving something
Constructive on the way.
The hours are far too precious
To let them slip away
By sitting down and dreaming
Of things that should be done today
Rise up each morning gladly,
And achieve each task with cheer,
Use each moment wisely
To show others that you care.
See the golden sunrise,
See the wonder of the stars,
The beauty of the forest
And the mighty ocean’s roar.
Everything around us
Has a story to unfold,
Every tiny insect,
Every little bird.
So never waste a moment
Of God’s precious day.
It only comes around but once
And quickly flies away.

A FRIENDLY SMILE

A friendly smile when passing,
A kindly word of cheer,
Will set the heartstrings dancing,
And dry away the tear.
A listening ear for problems,
An understanding heart,
And time for one another
To help the fears depart.
These are our greatest treasures,
More valuable than pearls,
To share with one another
And create a better world.
So don’t rush past the stranger
With your head up in the clouds,
Just give a friendly greeting,
And bring sunshine to their world.

All Is Well
Death is nothing at all;
I have only slipped away into the next room.
I am I and you are you.
Whatever we were to each other That we still are.
Call me by my old familiar name.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Put no difference in your tone.
Wear no forced air of solemnity or sorrow.
Laugh as we always laughed at the little
jokes we enjoyed together.
Play, smile, think of me, pray for me.
Let my name be ever the household word
that it always was.
Let it be spoken without effect;
Without a trace of a shadow on it.
Life means all that it ever meant.
It is the same as it ever was;
There is absolutely unbroken continuity.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
I am but waiting for you for an interval.
Somewhere very near; just around the corner.
All is well.

Cathedral.

Welsh Daffodils.
As you walk along the valley floor
And along the valleys hills
You will see the blooming flowers
Of the great Welsh daffodils
They stand so tall on big long stalks
So proud to be called Welsh
the yellow petals so vibrant
Which are looking full of health
The trumpet opens fully
To take in the fresh Welsh air
Used to represent St David’s Day
And to uplift all those in care
To go with them God made a place
Full of green mountains and the vales
And the daffodils proudly stand today
As a symbol for our Wales

Bedtime Prayer.
Now I lay me down to sleep
I pray dear Lord my soul to keep
May angels watch me through the night
And wake me in the morning light
Help me through the coming day
when I’m at my work and play.
And if I die before I wake
I pray dear lord, my soul to take
Oh blessed Lord help me to be
A kind and happy child like thee.
Amen.

Standing Watch.
We have one Angel standing watching
above us as we sleep
another gathers up the hopes and dreams we wish to keep.
One Angel is the tiny voice that
whispers in our ears
with words of love and comfort, to conquer grief and fears.
We have so many Angels with one
friendship keeper too
another just to help us mend the thoughtless things we do
We have a guardian of love who
protects our Destiny
and helps us with our soul mate with who we are meant to be
We have a host of Angels that keep us
company
in order that we may become the best that we can be.

Dancing with Angles.
When your dancing with the angels
and your close up to the edge
You think of things so positive
to stop you falling off the ledge
The angels can only help you
if you try to help yourself
For earthly things don’t matter
like belongings and your wealth
When your dancing with the angels
brighter lights you will see
It’s up to you which way you go
it is your destiny.
Which ever way you decide to go
angels will smother you with love
If you decide to stay on earth
or go to the heavens up above.

Sometimes.
Sometimes when I don’t feel so tall
I place my trust and send a call
My hope and wish is to feel good and whole
Rebuild my strength and reclaim my soul
Brothers and Sisters their backs did bend
Their love and healing they did send
And now my heart has much to say
Bless you and thank you I guess is the way
May you all stand tall and face the sun
Your shadow behind you, your battles won.

If I Knew.
If I knew it would be the last time
that I'd see you fall asleep,
I would tuck you in more tightly and pray the Lord your soul to keep.
If I knew it would be the last time that I see you walk out the door,
I would give you a hug and kiss and call you back for one more.
If I knew it would be the last time I'd hear your voice lifted up in
praise,
I would video tape each action and word, so I could play them back day
after day.
If I knew it would be the last time, I
could spare an extra minute
to stop and say "I love you," instead of assuming you would
Know I do.
If I knew it would be the last time I would be there to share your day,
Well I'm sure you'll have so many more, so I can let just this one slip
away.
For surely there's always tomorrow to make up for an oversight,
and we always get a second chance to make everything just right.
There will always be another day to say "I love you,"
And certainly there's another chance to say our "Anything I can
do?"
But just in case I might be wrong, and today is all I get,
I'd like to say how much I love you and I hope we never forget.
Tomorrow is not promised to anyone,
young or old alike,
And today may be the last chance you get to hold your loved one tight.
So if you're waiting for tomorrow, why not do it today?
For if tomorrow never comes, you'll surely regret the day,
That you didn't take that extra time for a smile, a hug, or a kiss
and you were too busy to grant someone, what turned out to be their one
last wish.
So hold your loved ones close today, and whisper in their ear,
Tell them how much you love them and that you'll always hold them dear
Take time to say "I'm sorry," "Please forgive me,"
"Thank you," or "It's okay."
And if tomorrow never comes, you'll have no regrets about today.

Helping, Teaching, Comforting. Angels are all around you.
One angel can give you healing another see you through
One will watch or’e you sleeping and wake you with the dew
The angel who is your guardian has been with you since your birth
Your companion and your friend your Stalemate here on earth.

Wherever you may wander the angels are all around you.

Believe in Yourself.
Achieving dreams
Set your standards high, you deserve the best,
Try for what you want, a dream is a seed,
and never settle for less. The seed of a tree, a tree of life.
Believe in yourself,
And the things you can be, no matter what you choose,
Your dreams are the window, keep a winning attitude,
Through which you can see, And you can never lose,
A hint of the future and the things you will be.
Think about your destination, each night when you sleep
But don’t worry if you stray, you’re feeding the seed,
Because the most important thing, the seed of the tree
Is what you learnt along the way of who you will be.
Take all that you
become, to be all that you can be
Soar above the clouds, and let your dreams set you free.

Gods Creation.
When God had made the earth and sky
The flowers and the trees
He then made all the animals
All the birds and bees
When his work was finished
Not one was quite the same
He said “ I’ll walk this earth of mine
I’ll give each one of them a name
So he travelled land and sea
Every where he went
A little creature followed him
Until his strength was spent
When all were named upon the earth
And in the sky and sea
The little creature said “ Dear Lord “
There’s not one left for me.
The father smiled and softly said
I’ve left you till the end
I’ve turned my own name back to front
And called you Dog my friend.

Life’s
Questions.
Death can make you sorrow,
It can make you dazed.
It can make you angry,
And even make you crazed.
Death hurts every body,
A daughter and a son.
Grandparents or a father,
A wife or even mum.
It Isn’t just one family,
It hurts people worldwide.
It gives you grief and sorrow,
And hurts you deep inside.
We ask sometimes to them above,
Why the ones we love must go.
It’s up to us to live life fully,
And not for us to know.

Distant Shore.
Our home is just a
distant shore where we were given love galore
But now we have a different life, among this earth of
toil and strife
It is said our lives we plan ahead before this earth we do descend
Each of us having our path to find, living our lives
being loving and kind.
We all will have our tasks to do, spreading Gods love that is given you
So that our lives may be rich and full, on Gods earth
being happy and joyful
We leave the tranquil shores to find, not all Gods children are so kind
Some want to be powerful and ignore, Gods promise from
the distant shore.
Their heavy hearts so full of woe, They do not believe in God anymore
If they could only embrace the light, And feel the love that brings
delight
Into their lives that is full of sin and find the love of
God within.
As we go forward in our daily lives, Memories of the distant shore
subside
We forget our dear friends back home, While here on earth we
live and roam
Sometimes we feel sad and forlorn, Thinking that we are all alone
living our lives as best we can, Trying to help our fellow man.
As we progress and become more aware we find our spirit friends
are still there
Guiding and helping us realise, We are not forgotten in their eyes
Their guidance they send from above, We gain solace and hope
from their love
Helping us through our earthly lives, Until the day of our demise
When our earthly tasks are no more, They guide us back to
the distant shore.

Positive
Thought.
If you think you have got it, you have
If you think you will get it , you will
If your temperature rises, you faint
No matter the size of the pill.
If you think you are sick, then you are
If you want to be well, you will find
That healthiness starts with your will
It’s all in the state of the mind.
If you think you are done for, you are
If you think that you dare not, you don’t
If you think you will never go far
It’s almost a cert that you won’t
But think yourself healthy and whole
Think thoughts that are happy and kind
Just think that you can, and you will
It’s all in the state of the mind.

Awake in a
Dream.
No mountains, a hill, or a tree, to high
Birds of wing carry dreams through ethereal sky
The disabled run, they dance, they sing
To be of no pain, what joy the dreams do bring.
To Dream into Dream
The blind gaze with enchanted eyes
Touch the rainbow, drape thyself with colours bright
This must be heaven, the joyous heart cry
Swing on the falling star,
catch snowflake in the still of night
Secret of Dream
Whispering grass, tell secret to fall of dancing leaves
in bewildered amazement the deaf ears hear
Wings of wind call to the mountains that always sing
Rhythm of mother river, sing a lullaby
with blue bells that ring.
O Blessed the Dream
The dumb with angel voice sing to the Fairy Queen
dance and sing in fairy ring, where many blessing been
Love in eyes shining, sweet lips in prayer praying
ears in lost wonder, hear distant harps playing
To walk, to run, to be such fun
To see rainbow when the sun go down
To hear rabble of river, sing lullaby to new born
To sing Gods praise in the awake of a new morn.

IF
If you can keep your
head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you
But make allowance for their doubting too,
If you can wait and
not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don't deal in lies,
Or being hated, don't give way to hating,
And yet don't look too good, nor talk too wise:
If you can dream--and
not make dreams your master,
If you can think--and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to
hear the truth you've spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build 'em up with worn-out tools:
If you can make one
heap of all your winnings
And risk it all on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
And never breath a word about your loss;
If you can force your
heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: "Hold on!"
If you can talk with
crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings--nor lose the common touch,
If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much,
If you can fill the
unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds' worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And--which is more--you'll be a Man, my son!
Rudyard Kipling.

The Bluebell
Shrine.
On April day, an elusive breath filled the air and
entering the woods I found that Spring was already there
She was painting a picture. which came alive to show
the bluebells, trees and ferns the way to grow.
Day by day, the flowers steady formed and grew
each trumpet vell trimmed with scallops hem of blue
Pirouetting with their crinolines in an old fashion dance
laughing and swaying their beauty to enhance
Each day they grew stronger and formed a carpet of blue
some bells were white, some striped with a darker hue
Bur all were protected by newly minted blade of green
which combined together to make an unforgettable scene
he crescent moon sailed high in the pale blue sky
and long silver moonbeams set out to fly
to the bluebell woods to provide the light
so the woodland sok could sing and dance to their delight.
For few short weeks, the pageant carried d on
but as Spring departed the vibrance was gone
Slowly the bluebells began to fade
and green seed capsules appeared instead
Each season gives place in an ordered fashion
so the bluebells became jaded and slept for a faction
Of orderly time in the course of Nature’s season
which is the result of a cycle of perfect season.
All around the tress are donning their garments of green
and the bushes and plants of Summer bask in sunlight serene
But always my soul remembers with a sense of awe
when a mass of bluebells carpeted the woodland floor

The
Undergrowth.
You look into the undergrowth
From above you see nothing
But inside there are little animals
Which are living deep within
You don’t see them
in daylight
Cos they rarely make a sound they
sometimes hide in the undergrowth
Or burrow underground
Some blend in with
the background
To help them to survive
They stay still when they sense you
That’s how they stay alive
The forage through
the undergrowth
To find things for their feed
They don’t eat everything at once
They just take what they need
So please take care
in the undergrowth
Where they have lived and fed
Cos if you damage their habitat
These animals will end up dead
